Good Eatin’ for a Good Cause!

We were recently visited by Truman, a very Charming Labradoodle, bearing the gift of food!  This special delivery of delicious BBQ was a part of a fundraising event held by the UDS Foundation; a local non-profit organization committed to helping people with disabilities. Truman is one of many UDS Service Dogs trained to help the disabled with the difficulties of everyday life such as opening and closing doors, turning on lights, picking something up off the floor, balance and even getting something out of the refrigerator. These dogs are trained from pups for over two years by a team of dedicated volunteers and professionals to help people who have a mobility disability live fuller lives.
