The “Puppies in Prison” Service Puppy Program by United Disabilities Services holds a special place in our hearts. Sponsoring a puppy to go through training to become a life-changing companion for someone in need is a cause we’re happy to participate in each time the opportunity presents itself.

We recently sponsored out third puppy, Kato a handsome black Labrador Retriever – and plan on sponsoring more in the future. Kato joins Abel and Journey has our previously sponsored puppies, already in the midst of thier training in the “Puppies in Prison” training program.

The program is unique, and effective, as it gives inmates the chance to learn the skills required to train these puppies, and the puppies benefit from the socialization and obedience training. It has been very successful!

We welcomed Kato into the PBK family with a visit to our warehouse surrounded by our entire team.
