In an ongoing effort to help those in need, volunteers from Primitives by Kathy helped with a gift giving event held by New Choices Career Development in Lancaster this past holiday season. PBK donated hundreds of dollars worth of presents and gift cards to woman who are full-time students with part-time jobs. The women receiving the gifts were overwhelmed with joy.

New Choices Career Development program is a non-profit organization offering life-changing opportunities for Lancaster County’s women in transition to achieve economic self-sufficiency through personal development, career guidance,and job training.

It offers five, 10-day, 60-hour courses each year completely free of charge. Upon the successful completion of the program, New Choices offers valuable scholarship opportunities and guidance for students to pursue further education.
