Primitives by Kathy is all about service to the community. In an effort to promote the spirit of volunteering, we have initiated a company-wide challenge that we call Family Fun Day. Employees earn a day off and $200 to enjoy time with their family, in exchange for a commitment for a day of service within the community.

At our most recent event, employees volunteered at the Disability Empowerment Center’s annual picnic at Long’s Park. The majority of the staff at the Empowerment are disabled and really benefited from having the extra hands to help set up picnic tables and make the pavilions more accessible for the disabled participants.
