Warm food welcomed with warmer smiles, this month’s Family Fun Day was dedicated to serving the less fortunate and the surrounding community of Lancaster City at the Water Street Ministries.

Employees from PBK twisted on their hairnets and tied down their aprons in preparation for the anxious line of patrons awaiting the chance to sink their teeth into a wonderfully nutritious meal that was prepared with love. Our volunteers spent four hours assisting the kitchen staff in doctoring up plates and serving them to glowing faces; we all agreed that it was time well spent!

Everyone was so grateful, and the kitchen staff seemed to absolutely LOVE what they do. We truly had a blast and left with personal promises of returning to relive this glorious day.
